PERTHSHIRE BREWERY CELEBRATES SIBA AWARD SUCCESS

Inveralmond Brewery’s award winning team is toasting yet another raft of successes, with their portfolio of bottled beers sweeping up awards in 5 out of the 15 categories at the recent SIBA Scotland Regional awards.

The Brewery, which is also the official distributor of Barney’s Beer in Scotland, has claimed a Silver Medal for Blackfriar for Premium Strong Beer and a Bronze Medal for Lia Fail for Premium Bitter.

This success has been mirrored by their extended portfolio of bottled beers with Barney’s Red Eye scooping up a Gold Medal for Bottle Speciality Beer and a Bronze Medal for Champion Bottled Beer and Barney’s Volcanic IPA claiming the Silver Medal for Bottled Bitters.

The news has been received well by Bob Hogg, commercial director of Inveralmond Brewery who commented:

“Once again this a strong result for Inveralmond’s portfolio of beers, demonstrating strength in a number of categories for our key brands. We’re delighted that Barney’s and Inveralmond beers are recognised across five out of fifteen possible categories and our sincere congratulations extend to the team at Barney’s Beer too who have performed particularly well in the bottled beer categories.”
